Instructions

1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Marinate paneer cubes in this mixture for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan and lightly pan-fry the marinated paneer until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
3. In the same pan, heat remaining oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
4. Add tomato puree, coriander powder, and cook until the oil separates from the masala.
5. Add water and simmer for 5 minutes.
6. Gently add the fried paneer cubes and cook for another 5–7 minutes.
7. Stir in cream, adjust salt, and sprinkle garam masala. Cook for 2 more minutes.
8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and extra cream if desired. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed rice.
